PRE-SHOOT

Preparing for a group headshot photo session can make all the difference in achieving a successful shoot. Once the shoot date has been scheduled with your marketing team, we will create a branding or "mood" board, the blueprint for the photo session. We will discuss all the elements that make up a headshot, such as location, backdrops, and look and feel of the images, to create a shoot plan with a cohesive visual and aesthetic theme that aligns with your company's branding and messaging to ensure that your photos will make a lasting impression with your audience.

After creating the mood board, I will provide you with a custom-branded welcome kit for you to distribute to your team. This document will contain all the necessary guidance and instructions for the shoot, including how to prepare for the session, what to wear and what to expect from the process. This guide eliminates the need for multiple back-and-forth emails within your organization. It ensures that every team member is well-prepared for the photo shoot, making the process less intimidating.

This Welcome Kit can be included in new hire packages so that every new member of your team can be well-prepared for future photoshoots, making the onboarding process smoother and more efficient.

To streamline the process, we also offer a personal scheduler to coordinate and schedule the shoot with all members of your team. This takes the burden off your organization, ensures everyone is available and prepared for the shoot, and eliminates scheduling conflicts or other issues that could cause delays or complications.

SHOOT DAY

On the day of the shoot, you will be welcomed to our studio, or we will meet you at your requested location. If you have asked for onsite professional hair and makeup services, we'll have them all set up and ready to go before your photo session begins to ensure the best possible results. Each employee will be scheduled for a photo session for 20 minutes. We will start with discussing their position within the organization and then be guided through a series of poses that fit your messaging and branding; crossed arms may be great for a lawyer but may not work for a grief counsellor.

Between takes, we review and discuss the photographs to ensure they are satisfied with the image, and if any changes need to be made, they can done immediately. They will select their final image; we will discuss what they want to be touched up or out in post-production (within reason), so there is no need to worry about an unexpected pimple or out-of-place hair.

There is nothing worse than to have a photograph of yourself that you hate out there for all to see; this process ensures that you know that everyone is happy with your headshot before you leave the session.

POST SHOOT

Our turnaround time can vary depending on the project, but typically, you can expect the retouched photos within two weeks. The selected photos are retouched to the highest standards and digitally delivered in a private gallery exclusive to your organization.
